About Me
I am a computer science student at the University of Maryland, College Park graduating in December 2022. This summer I will be a Software Development Engineering Intern at Qualtrics in Provo, Utah. While I am curious about many career paths, I'm particularly interested in full stack web development. I am currently working on several projects to practice my front end and back end skills.
Before pursuing a degree in computer science, I worked in the field of psychology. I earned a B.S. in psych from Purdue University in 2018 and then moved to Maryland to work in a cross-cultural psychology research lab at UMD. While the topics I researched were fascinating, I knew it wasn't the career for me. I had always been intrigued by the idea of solving problems and creating products with code and decided to make use of the tuition remission I received as a UMD employee to begin studying computer science. I loved it as much as I suspected I might and never looked back. I am very excited to apply the psychological insights and cultural competencies I learned from my time in psychology to my career as a software engineer.
